Charles Edward Powers

Charles Edward Powers, 71, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015.

Born on February 6, 1944 in Macon, Georgia to the late Frank and Pauline Howington Powers, Sr, Charles was a 1962 graduate of Willingham High School in Macon. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Barnsville where he served as a Deacon. Charles retired from Crest Finance Company in Macon as a Finance Manager. He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Little League Baseball. Charles enjoyed telling jokes and making everyone around him smile. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Along with his parents, his siblings, Oscar Powers, Frank Powers, Betty Ruff, and Joe Powers, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 27 years, Pamela W. Powers of Warner Robins, sons, Mark Powers (Kelly) of Macon, Kevin Powers (April) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jason Doetsch, Haleigh Powers, Brandon Powers, and Evan Powers; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Charles Edward Powers to Shiloh Baptist Church Youth Fund, 1530 Hwy 41, Barnesville, Ga 30204.
