Charles Sloan, 78, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017.
Charles was born on July 2, 1939 in Fort Payne, Alabama. He owned and operated Sloan Paint Contractor for many years before retiring. Charles was an avid fisherman, he always enjoyed time spent on the lake. However, his greatest joy came from time spent with his beloved family. Charles was a member of Second Baptist Church and Dennis Watts Sunday School Class.
His parents and his daughter, Wanda Stevens, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Susie Sloan of Warner Robins; daughter, Janie Fleming of Tampa, Florida; half-sister, Glenda Kutay of Warner Robins; nephew, Eli Hoffman, and niece, Laura Kincaid.
Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Charles will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Charles Sloan to the National Kidney Foundation, 2951 Flowers Road South, Atlanta, GA 30341.
