Knoxville, GA – Charles Joseph Ciampa, 77, died Saturday, February 16, 2002 at Peach Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 20 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the St. Juliana Parrish, 804 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Fort Valley, GA 31030.
Mr. Ciampa was born in Boston, MA. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict having served in the United States Air Force. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He was also a member of St. Juliana Catholic Church. His parents, Angelo and Blanche Ciampa, son, Charles J. Ciampa, Jr. and brothers, George, Harry, and Larry Ciampa preceded him in death
Survivors include his wife, Frances Conway Ciampa, Knoxville, GA; sons, David Ciampa, Knoxville, GA and Thomas Ciampa, NH; daughters, Blanche Ciampa Angelea, Macon, Paula Ciampa Clark, Biloxi, MS, Charlene Ciampa Coggins, Knoxville, GA; brother, Donnie Ciampa, Tewksbury, MA; sister, Lillian Ciampa Flammini, Charlestown, MA and 9 grandchildren.
