Charles Nelson Meese

Charles Nelson Meese, 77, passed away on August 11, 2004. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A rosary will start at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at McCullough Funeral Home and visitation with the family will follow.

Mr. Meese was born in Lonaconing, Maryland He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In 1982, he retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base
where he worked as a Contracting Officer. Mr. Meese was also a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served in World War II. His wife, Rose Marie Stakem Meese and his parents Charles and Genevieve Cavan Meese, preceded him in death.


Survivors include his son, Chuck Meese, Hardwick, VT; his daughter and son-in-law, Anne and John Pacosa, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Josh Pacosa, Warner Robins; Cavan and Noah Meese , Glover, VT; and Jan Meese, Hardwick, VT; sisters, Katherine Shaw, Westernport, MD; Ethel Scollick, Harrisburg, PA; and Helen Monahan, Silver Springs, MD; brother, Jack Meese, Silver Springs, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Sacred Heart Church Building Fund P.O. Box 5052 Warner Robins, GA 31099-5052.
