Charles R. Flynn, 82, died Friday, May 30, 2003 in The Woodlands, TX. The funeral mass will be held at 9:00 am, Thursday, June 5th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The rosary will be said Wednesday June 4th at 7:00pm with a visitation following until 9:00pm.

Mr. Flynn was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. He has resided in Warner Robins since 1970, after moving from Newfoundland Canada. Mr. Flynn retired from civil service logistics at Robins AFB. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served in the North Atlantic/Newfoundland Sea & Air Command during WWII. He was a member of NARFE and AARP. He also served as the Eucharistic minister and C.C.D. teacher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was the husband of the late Gertrude Mackenzie Flynn of Grand Falls/Windsor, Newfoundland, Canada. His parents James and Jane Flynn and son Charles R. Flynn Jr. preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Norbert J. Flynn, The Woodlands, TX; James H. Flynn, Acworth, GA; daughter, Maureen C. Watkins, South Weymouth, MA; brothers, James H. Flynn, Vienna, VA, Robert A. Flynn, Portland, ME, Earle E. Flynn, Tiverton, RI; Leo J. Flynn, Venice, FL; Harold Flynn, Camden, SC, Roy N. Flynn, Hartsville, SC, Kenneth A. Flynn, El Paso, TX; sisters: Dorothy E. Cargill, Winthrop, MA, Madeline J. Tozlowski, Ashland, MA, Eileen Griggs, Charlotte, NC and ten grandchildren.
