Charles Ray McAllaster, 82, entered into rest on Sunday, April 29, 2012.
Charles was born on September 9, 1929 in Geneseo, Kansas. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served his country during World War II. Charles later retired Civil Service from Robins Air Force Base after twenty-five years, and also worked at Zantop for ten years. He was a member of River of Light Church of God, and will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His son, Danny Ray McAllaster; parents, Edwin S. McAllaster and Bessie E. Gage McAllaster; sister, Lois E. McAllaster-Simmonds; and great-grandson, Keith McAllaster, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Eunice McAllaster, Warner Robins; children, Charles McAllaster (Melanie), Warner Robins, Kenneth McAllaster (Dawn), Byron, and Patricia McAllaster-Pike, Byron; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at River of Light Church of God with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Pastor Dwayne Evors will officiate.
