Charles "Wayne" Mimbs, Sr.

Early on the morning of Saturday, October 22, 2022, Charles Wayne Mimbs, Sr., 68, passed away with the love of his family and friends surrounding him.

Wayne was born on October 17, 1954, in Macon, Georgia to the late Raymond and Hazel Dubose Mimbs. For over thirty years, he owned and operated Wayne’s Automotive.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved children, Charles Mimbs (Jennifer Knight), Jeanette Falk (William), Amy Shepard (Michael), Stacy Mimbs, and Sherri Heath (Gene); fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; ten nieces and nephews; brother, Samuel Mimbs (Vera); sister-in-law, Debra Mimbs (Darlene) and lifelong friend Charlie Powell (Dale) all of whom loved him dearly.

Services for the family will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Charles Wayne Mimbs, Sr. to Georgia Recreations and Park Association at 1285 Parker Road SE, Conyers, Georgia 30094 or Pine Pointe Hospice at 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
