Charlie F Cranford

Charlie Cranford, 70, entered into rest on Saturday, October 24, 2009.

Mr. Cranford was born on January 22, 1939 in Cochran. He retired from Warner Robins Police Department after serving the community for twenty years. He was of the Baptist faith. His daughter, Carol Marie Cranford, and parents, Chapman Cranford and Asilee Abney Cranford, preceded him in death.

He will live in the hearts of his wife of thirteen years, Patricia Stinson Cranford, Byron; son, Charles Russell, Cochran; step-daughter, Michelle Beck (John), Norwalk, Iowa; step-sons, Robert Towne, Des Moines, Iowa and Jeffery Towne, Augusta, Georgia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at the Coley family cemetery in Cochran.
