Cherry Ann White Morgan, 84, entered into rest on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at the Houston County Medical Center.
Mrs. Morgan was born on December 13, 1929 in Bleckley County, Ga. She lived in Houston County most of her life. Mrs. Morgan was a faithful member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins. She was valedictorian of her high school class, Cochran High School class of 1946. Mrs. Morgan continued her education at Middle Georgia College and Georgia Teachers College in Statesboro. She taught in Glynn County for several years, and was retired Civil Service with the Air Force Reserve at Robins Air Force Base.
Her parents, James B. and Juliette Lowe White, and sisters, Martha White, Francis White, Doris Manning (James), and Wetona Swift (Jerry), preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Michael Morgan (Sonya); grandchildren, Brandon and Reagan Morgan all of Lawrenceville; brother, James Emmett White (June) of Bleckley County; several nieces, and one nephew.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Green Acres Baptist Church with the Dr. Johnny Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County.
