Cheryl Cobb, 52, entered into rest on Friday, January 8, 2010.
Ms. Cobb was born on April 18, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana, where she graduated from Cowan High School. An avid runner, she participated in a running event each year at the Annual Air Force Marathon, Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Ohio. Also, for many years, she was the Children's Church and Youth Director at Avondale United Methodist Church. She was raised in Fountain Square United Methodist Church, Muncie, along with her family.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter: Christa Gil (Rei), Warner Robins Georgia: sons, Clinton Cobb, Muncie, Indiana, Cyle Cobb (Aimee), Minneapolis, Minnesota; parents, Neil (Judy), Hartford City, Indiana and Paula Sodders, Muncie; Grandmother, Frances Marsh, Muncie; four sisters, Dawna Sodders and Connie Taylor (Richard), both from Muncie, Angela Smith and Annette Sodders, both from Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Brian Sodders (Deana), Custer, Michigan, Brent Sodders, Key West, Florida; two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Tiffany Gil, Warner Robins; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, including many from Ball State University, Indiana. A special thanks to the United States Air Force at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia (Readiness Management Group and JA family) and the Houston Medical Center staff for tremendous support.
Her loving husband, Clarence E. Cobb and Grandfather, Gifford G. Marsh preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 13, 2010, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Meeks Mortuary, Muncie (Washington St). Funeral Services will begin at 2:30p.m. Reverend Steven Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.
