Cheryl Katherlyn Folds

Cheryl Katherlyn Folds, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was called to the Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was 72 years old.

Cheryl was born on February 16, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Ray Bartley and Eloise Katherlyn Walls and was of the Baptist faith. She graduated from Western High School in Coweta County, Georgia. Later in life, she became a childcare provider for many families in her home. In her free time, she loved to fish, camp, and frequent establishments where everyone knew her name. Cheryl’s presence will be deeply missed by those she loved.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ernie Folds, and brother, Raymond Walls.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Tracey Folds, Sr. and his wife, Tasha of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Noelle Liscombe, Kira Liscombe, and Tracey Folds, Jr., all of Warner Robins; and siblings, Gayla Walls of Charlotte, NC and Doug Walls of Newnan, GA.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.  Afterward, Cheryl will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
