Cheryl Rogers Wilkinson of Bonaire, Georgia, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
Cheryl was born at the Macon Hospital on December 26, 1953. She attended Westside Elementary School, Tabor Junior High, and graduated from Northside High School in 1972. She retired after working at Robins Federal Credit Union for 36 years. An active member of Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Cheryl sang in the choir and assisted her husband, Roland Wilkinson, in the Pathfinders Sunday School class and the Life Group.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Rogers and Burnise Mosier.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Roland Wilkinson; son, Zion Calhoun; daughter, Trinity (David) Reed; stepson, David (Bobbi) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Payton, Gage, and Bradley, and Joshua and Ashley; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Second Baptist Church. Afterward, Cheryl will be laid to rest in the Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
