Chester Lavon Weldon

Chester Lavon Weldon, 71, entered into rest on Sunday, June 26, 2011.

Mr. Weldon was born on August 27, 1939 in Butler, Georgia. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army. Chester retired from Robins Air Force Base where he was employed as a C-130 Machinist. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Butler. His parents, Dewey and Myrtice Greathouse Weldon, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Gopi Lalchand Weldon, Butler; sister, Betty LaJudice, Warner Robins; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Sasser officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Thomaston Hospice Foundation, 512 South Center Street, Thomaston, Georgia 30286.
