Chester Lee Albert

Chester Lee Albert, 68, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Chester was born on June 11, 1954, in Harrison Township, Michigan. He grew up in Houston County, Georgia. He joined the Army in 1974 and served four years in Germany. After his service, he worked in management for a number of fast food restaurants, along with being a handyman and automobile salvaging. He loved his BFF (best furry friend), “Purdy Girl” with all his heart. In his free time, he enjoyed NASCAR, particularly Chase Elliot, Atlanta Braves Baseball, Atlanta Falcons Football, and spending time with his family and friends. He is a cherished brother who will be missed dearly.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Lee Albert and Viola Grace Johnson, sister, Bonna Kathleen Beasley, nephew, Michael Rogers, II, brothers-in-law, Harold Robinson and Ken Wood, and mother of Michael Rogers’ children, Margaret Marie Rogers.

His memory will forever be treasured by his siblings, Linda Carol Robinson, Michael Eugene Rogers (Valerie), Cindy Ruth Lord (Hugh), and Colleen Joann Wood; nieces and nephews, Linda, Michelle, Memory, Heather, Sheldon, Lori, Tommy, Josh, and Lisa, along with many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where Chester will be laid to rest.
