On Friday, February 17, 2023, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Chloe Morris, peacefully passed away at the age of 85.
Born in Prattville, AL on October 21, 1937, Chloe was the daughter of the late Guy and Inez Raybon. She retired with a number of years in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base while serving as a proud military wife and raising a loving family. A people person, Chloe was quick to make friends wherever she went. She enjoyed being a member of the CB Club, and was a former bowling champion and great pianist. Chloe also loved traveling when she had the chance, especially to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Wade Morris.
Those left to cherish Chloe’s memory are her loving daughter, Reba Hathaway and her husband, John; grandchildren, Charles William Morris, Priscilla Thompson, Sage Hathaway and Olivia Hathaway; great-grandchildren, Cassie Williams, Chase Morris, Brad Tipton and Brian Tipton, Jr.; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Millwood officiating. Afterward, Chloe will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Chloe to a charity of your choice.
