Christine Persad Caesar

Early in the evening of Sunday, November 6, 2022, Christine Raymond Collymore Persad-Caesar, 51, went home to be with the LORD surrounded by her loving family.

Christine was born on December 24, 1970 to Aumenita Collymore and Bernard Persad in Montreal, Canada. Preceding her in death is her beloved father Bernard Persad and her sister Shian Persad.

Christine Persad was united in marriage to Carl A. Caesar on October 19, 1991. She was the mother of Gabriel Charleston Caesar. She worked at Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia as Admissions and Certification Specialist in the School of Education and Behavioral Science. She was the editor and publisher of Inspire Magazine. She attended Central Georgia Technical College and Middle Georgia State University. She was a beloved member of Believers Sanctuary Church in Macon, GA. Christine had many passions including photography, cooking, arts and craft, graphic arts design, sewing, and singing Gospel songs. The Caesar and Persad family are comforted in the knowledge that she believed that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (2 Cor 5:8) We celebrate her life and homegoing and have absolute faith that one day she will be reunited with her family and all who believe in Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

Cherishing her memories always are her husband Carl Caesar and her son Gabriel Caesar, her stepsons Carl Jr and Claudius Caesar, her mother Aumenita Collymore and her niece Alondra Foster. Collymore Family: aunts- Carol and Cynthia cousins: Caroline, Edith, Bradley, Juliana, Ann, Douglas, Tim, Cherime, Christopher, Leona, Delorra, Leonora, Christine, Cynthia, Malcom, Cordrod, Patrick, Edward, Simon, Peter, Cathy and Janice. The Persad Family: uncles- James and Timothy, aunts- Theresa, Sheila, and Mildred. Simon Family: cousins- Jennie, Simone, Eveyette, Carmello, Loucingo, Statham, Loyola, Thebolds. The George Family: cousins-Pam, Eugene, Ingrid, Rosemary, Prosper, Carlisle and Justin. Caesar Family: Clive, Leroy, Keith, Claudette, Conrad, Colin and Colette, her grandchildren: Cameron, Chancellor, Colton, Claire and Cassius Caesar and a host of nephews and nieces.

Christine’s family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Lewis Nelson, Pastor Mark Ramsingh, and Assistant Pastor Ravindra Ramsingh officiating. Following the service, Christine will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Everlasting Life, Section.
