Christy Hudson Cline, 79, joined the love of her life, George P. Cline, in Heaven, on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Born in Macon, Georgia on February 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Grover and Mae Ross Hudson
Christy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and most importantly, an obedient child of God. She was a 60-year member of Mikado Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for over 45 years. God, her family, and her friends were central in Christy’s life, but she also loved dogs and cooking for church friends and those in need. She will be remembered as a dear friend to many.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Kelly Cline Fruechtemeyer and her husband, Scott and George Todd Cline, and his wife, Lori; grandchildren, Samuel Fruechtemeyer, Molly Fruechtemeyer, Catherine Cline and Drew Cline; siblings, Kathleen Hudson Doré, Toni Hudson Murphey and Benjamin Grover Hudson, Jr.
Christy will be laid to rest with a private graveside funeral service for her family, in Byron City Cemetery on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Ed Chambless will officiate.
For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
