Cindy H. Gladney

Cindy H. Gladney passed away in the early morning of Tuesday January 20, 2015 at the age of 60.

Cindy was born on April 29, 1954 in Shelby, Ohio to Pat and the late Ron Heuberger. The family later moved to Warner Robins. It was here where she took root, after graduating from Warner Robins High School in 1972 she married Phil Gladney. Together they had two beautiful children, Stephen and Heather.

Always involved in her community, Cindy started her career at Robins AFB in the Contracting and Supply Directorates. From there she took time away to raise her family before returning to work as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional at Russell Elementary School, where she worked for 19 years. She retired in 2014. But always took great pride in her work – interacting with children and cultivating a community amongst her wonderful co-workers.

Perhaps the only thing Cindy took more pride in was her family. Her warmth unending, Cindy cherished her family and was fast to make friends everywhere she went, being sure to snap pictures of it all along the way. She also took great joy in music and was known to attend concerts across Georgia with family and friends.

Cindy will be remembered, cherished, and eternally loved by her husband, Phil Gladney of Warner Robins, children Stephen and Heather, of Atlanta, mother, Pat Heuberger, of Warner Robins, siblings, Debra Stefan (Ed), Cheryl Howell (Ken), Susan Haggarty (Bob), David Heuberger, many nieces and nephews, and her grandpup, Zoe.

Her family will receive friends Friday, January 23, 2015, from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins, with her entombment to follow at Magnolia Park.
