Cindy Hays

Cindy Hays, age 23, and her unborn daughter, Navi, passed into the hands of their Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

Cindy was born in Concord, North Carolina on December 7, 1995. She graduated from Central Cabarrus High School in 2014 and married her husband, Ben, shortly thereafter. Cindy enjoyed traveling with Ben’s military career and was attending school for interior design. A beautiful person inside and out, Cindy was the perfect wife to Ben and dedicated mother to her children as they were the passion in her life.

Those left to cherish Cindy’s memory are her loving husband and son, Ben and Emmett Hays, both of Warner Robins; her father, Pedro Arechiga of Mexico; her mother and stepfather, Xochil Avila Chavez and Adrian Leana of Concord, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Sandy Vandegrift of Trenton, Florida; father-in-law, Glenn Hays of Concord, North Carolina; maternal grandfather, Alberto Avila of Concord, North Carolina; paternal grandmother, Angelina Perez of California; paternal grandmother-in-law, Donna Vandegrift of Trenton, Florida; siblings, Jaretzi Leana, Brianda Leana, Merarid Avila, Jesus Avila, Sergio Leana, Brandon Leana, Erick Avila; and brothers-in-law, Josh Hays and Matt Hays.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from Noon until 2 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 22, 2019, at 7 pm at Inglesia Cristiana Roca Fuerte located at 405 Kerr Street, Concord. Her uncle, Pastor Martin Cruz will officiate. The family will also gather on Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 11 am to 12:30 pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel for a service of remembrance and sharing. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
