Clara G. Fielder passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 28 at Southside Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1041 S. Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA, 31088.
Mrs. Fielder was born in Eastman, Georgia and had been a resident of Warner Robins since 1951. She was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class, and the Amazing Grays. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her parents, John Wesley Garrett and Rosa Burch Garrett, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Olgie Darrell Fielder; son, Blaine Fielder (Donna); daughter, Gayle Thomas (Jim); all of Warner Robins; brother, John Derward Garrett, Gray; sister, Delores Hammock, Macon; grandchildren, Ricky L. Thomas, Johnny R. Thomas, Jeffrey T. Fielder, Kevin L. Fielder; and great-grandchildren, Joseph McCutheon-Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Bryce Thomas, and Evan Thomas.
