Clarence Edward "Pete" Foster, 82, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
Mr. Foster was born on November 27, 1928 in Philo, Ohio. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Robins Air Force Base Civil Service after 37 years. He volunteered for the Warner Robins Recreation Department for many years. Mr. Foster was an avid golfer and sports fan. His beloved wife, Effie Ruth Barclay Foster; parents, Milo and Maude Foster; and son Philip Foster preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Donna Thompson, Glenwood and Rhonda Purser, Warner Robins; grandchildren, David Thompson, Michelle Corless (John), and Jason Purser; great-grandchildren, Angel and David Purser, and Johnathan and Graham Corless; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following at 4:30 p.m. in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bethlehem, Georgia. The family respectfully requests memorial donations to be given to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Suite A, Macon, GA 31201.
