Claude Watson, Jr.

Claude “Buzzy” Watson, Jr., 66 died Saturday, July 6, 2002. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Watson was a life long native of Houston County. He was the owner of Handy Man Hardware and co owner of The Market Basket Stores, Thrifty Food Center and Watson Nursery. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude & Edna Watson, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Roland Watson of Warner Robins; daughter and son-in-law, Johnny and Joy Watson Wright of Warner Robins; son and daughter-in-law, David and Regina Watson of Warner Robins; sisters, Jane Speer and Natalie Matthews both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jamie Wright, Jenna Wright, Zachary Watson & Emily Watson all of Warner Robins.
