Clifford Levon Cranford

Clifford Levon Cranford, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. 

Clifford was born on January 8, 1946, in Gordon, Georgia to the late George and Ruby Cranford. Known for his tender countenance, Clifford was known as a sweet and loving man. He was an avid animal lover, particularly for dogs, and often took his beloved pup, Sandy, on car rides. Clifford was a family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, often enjoying the memories he could make with them. He was a member of Second Baptist Church for many years. In his free time, Clifford found solace in nature, pursuing his passions for hunting and fishing. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for his family. He will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Dominy and Dorothy Pace. 

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Jeff Cranford (Julie) of Hawkinsville, Justin Cranford of Bonaire, Jason Cranford (Jennifer) of Warner Robins, and Wendy Guenthner of Perry; grandchildren, Wesley Guenthner, Kaley Boucher, Christa Cranford, Olivia Hopper, and Thomas Cranford; and great-grandchildren, Harper, Brayley, Carter, Aria, Joshua, and Jacob along with many other loving extended family members and friends. 

Visitation will be Saturday, July 20, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Clifford will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Clifford Cranford to Friends of Perry Animal Shelter (FOPAS) at 204 Kellwood Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
