Clyde J. Boley, 77, entered into rest on Saturday, February 9, 2013.
Mr. Boley was born on August 19, 1935, in Davis, West Virginia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Captain. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of West Virginia and his Master's degree from the University of Louisville, and later retired from the Union Carbide Corporation after twenty-one years and from MERC after twenty years. Houston Lake Presbyterian Church was his church home. His parents, Clyde Boley and Opal Vincent, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Sue Boley; children, Jeff Boley (Jane), Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania; John Boley (Roni), Manchester, Kentucky; Jim Boley (Tammy), Greenville, South Carolina; and Joy Dumas (Chuck), Perry; ten grandchildren, two great-children; sister, Betty Jo Crist, Charleston, West Virginia; uncle, Donald Flannagan, Hurricane, West Virginia, one niece and one nephew.
Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Houston Lake Presbyterian Church with interment following at 2:00 p.m. in Andersonville National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or Houston Lake Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 101 O'Brien, Kathleen, Georgia 31047.
