Clyde Thomas “Tom” Huddleston

Clyde Thomas "Tom" Huddleston, aged 76, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Houston Medical Center.

Raised in Anna, Ohio, by his mother, Lois Silcox Ordean and stepfather, Kenneth Ordean, Tom was a graduate of Anna Local High School. During his high school years, he played basketball and baseball. Following his education, Tom served his country during the Vietnam War, dedicating three years of his life to the United States Marine Corps.

Upon completing his military service, Tom chose Warner Robins as his permanent residence. Over the next 30 years, he worked on Robins Air Force Base, specializing in financial management.

Beyond his professional life, Tom harbored a deep passion for Corvettes. His enthusiasm led him to become a member of the local Corvette Club.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, Tom was preceded in death by his father, Harold Huddleston, and brother, Kenny Huddleston.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Linda Huddleston; sons, Chris Huddleston of Suffolk, Virginia, Michael Huddleston and Jason Huddleston (Caralyn), all of Bonaire; grandchildren, Tarren and Rachel Huddleston, Ella, Banner, and Sadie Huddleston; great-grandchildren, Maggie Dawson; and siblings, Paulette Sarver (John) of Syndey, Ohio, Kenneth Ordean of Anna, Ohio, and Tim Huddleston of Duff, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Monday, January 29, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.   A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.  Clyde Thomas “Tom” Huddleston will be privately laid to rest in Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele.
