Harold Lloyd Morrison, 83, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 11, 2013.
Mr. Morrison was born on December 24, 1929 in Hamlet, North Carolina to the late Herman F. Morrison and Alma Whitlock Morrison. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. With courage and loyalty, CMSgt Morrison proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era, retiring after many years of dedicated service. Harold was a true American Patriot, he volunteered with the Disabled American Veterans, was a Shriner, 33rd degree Mason, and a member of the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. In addition to his parents, his brothers, Fred Morrison, Johnny Morrison; sisters, Juanita McGowan, Margaret LaLonde, and grandson, Daniel Lloyd Selph, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Doris Marie Taylor Morrison, Warner Robins; his children and their spouses, Michael Morrison (Machele) Byron; Deborah Morrison Selph (Larry), Brunswick; siblings, Earl Morrison (Beverly) and Frances Morrison Rice, both of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, Shelley Parker, Brunswick; Whitney Rucker, Warner Robins; Benjamin Rucker, Hawkinsville; great grandchildren, Kaylee Marie Parker, Brunswick; and Kaiden Andrew Rucker, Warner Robins.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
