Harry O. Tolliver, 79, entered into rest on Monday, December 5, 2011.
Mr. Tolliver was born on June 17, 1932 in Ravencliff, West Virginia. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. CMSgt Tolliver proudly retired from the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era. A medical services technician, he also retired from Houston Healthcare Perry Hospital. Harry was involved in many community activities, including the Girl Scouts Foundation and Warner Robins High School Football. His parents, Isaac Q. Tolliver and Essie Duncan Tolliver; five brothers, three sisters, and great grandson, Gabriel Mikovitz; all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Rosemary S. Tolliver, Warner Robins; daughters, Pamela J. Van Dusen (Stan), Macon; Kimberly S. Adsit (Andy); Beth A. Tolliver, all of Warner Robins; Jennifer A. Sirmons (Brad), Hawkinsville; Deborah K. Deutscher, Kouts, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Norma Shumate, Ravencliff, West Virginia; brother in law, Roland Sizemore (Betty), Warner Robins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, December 8, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Christ United Methodist Church, Reverend Richard Soper officiating. Inurnment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with full military honors. His grandsons will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Christ United Methodist Church Youth Fund, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia.
