James Dyer, 75, died Saturday, July 26, 2003 at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 29 at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 12:00p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.

Mr. Dyer was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, to the late Patrick and Mary Dyer. After serving 30 years, he retired from the United States Air Force. Mr. Dyer was also a Mason. His wife, Virginia Nell Dyer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Mike Dyer, Macon, David Dyer, Woodstock; daughter, Moe Dyer, Macon; grandsons, Brendan Dyer, Macon, Jacob Dyer, Woodstock; brothers, Eddie Dyer, Charlestown, Billy Dyer, West Roxberry, MA; sister, Sissy O’Neil, Charlestown, MA.
