Cmsgt Kenneth Douglas Mills, Usaf (Ret.)

On Tuesday, June 21, 2016, 83 year old Kenneth Mills passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

Kenneth was born on August 26, 1932 in Ironto, Virginia to the late Irvin Ray and Ruby Nutter Mills. With great pride and honor he served in the United States Air Force for 32 years before retiring with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Kenneth was an athlete; he enjoyed golfing and bowling, and bowled in leagues for many years. He also enjoyed collecting hot wheels cars; however his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved family.

Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandson, Stephen Allred, and siblings, Bill Mills, Nettie Shrader, Don Mills, and Clinton Mills.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 59 years, Lou Mills of Ft. Valley; children, Karen Mitchell of Ft. Valley; Ronald Mills of Phoenix, Arizona; Eddy Mills (Regina) of SouthPort, Florida; Donna Allred (Dwayne) of Ft. Valley; Mike Mills (Chris) of Ft. Valley; grandchildren, Jesse Mills (Jennifer), Garrett Craighton, Billy Mills (Tammy), Kasey Mills, Richard Mills, Bridget Mills, Timmy Allred (Harmony), Bryan Mills, Stephanie Anglin (Chris), Shannon Mitchell; many great-grandchildren, and siblings, Clifton Mills, Irvin Mills, Imogene Mills, John Mills, Gary Mills, and Don Mills.

Visitation with Kenneth's family will be Friday, June 24, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, the family requests burial to be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Kenneth Mills to Shamrock Nursing Home, 1634 Telfair Street Dublin, Ga 31021.
