Warner Robins

Col. Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Moore, USAF (Ret.), 74, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born in the Philippines on Clarke Air Force Base, Beth was the daughter of the late Walter and Hermalinda Slupecki. She had five brothers and one sister. Beth was a high school and college international teacher, in Nicaragua and Australia, and had an Air Force career from which she retired as a full Colonel. Married to Ransom “Randy” Moore, she had four children and six grandchildren.

In her career she was command present, mission focused and the epitome of true grit; exemplifying leadership. As a mother and wife, she was loving and patient, with husband Randy, they raised four wonderful children: Jennifer, Tracy, Walter and Robyn.

Beth and family were stationed throughout the U.S. including Texas, California, Florida, Mississippi and Virginia, where she worked at the Pentagon, and even Stuttgart, Germany, at the European Command Center. After retiring from the Air Force, she worked in civil service in Tracy, Ca and did a nearly two year-long commission in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Beth cherished family! Whether at a family reunion or a simple BBQ, she carried the attitude, “Let’s have fun!”

In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by her siblings, Vincent J., Phillip, Michael, and Mark Slupecki.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 43 years, Ransom “Randy” Joseph Moore, Jr. of Warner Robins; children, Jennifer Pickering, Jessica (Tracy) Ferris, and Robyn Millette, and Walter Moore; grandchildren, Bryce Pickering, Calvin Pickering, Liam Millette, Abraham Millette, Ogden Moore, and Ellis Kent Moore; siblings, Barbara Brittain and Patrick Slupecki; as well as a host of beloved extended family members and friends.
