Ronald Dean Carbon, 57, entered into rest on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
Ronald was born on October 23, 1954 in Newton, Kansas. He was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Colonel Carbon proudly retired from the United States Air Force after twenty-one years of dedicated service to his country. Subsequent to his military career, he served as director of the 21st Century Partnership during the 2005 BRAC. A tireless community servant, Ronald also served on the Board of Director's for Heart of Georgia Hospice.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of thirty years, Donna Carbon, Byron; children, Jay Carbon (Meghan), Denver, Colorado; April Lankford (Kevin), Warner Robins; Bryan Carbon (Andrea), Woodstock; parents, Bernard and Barbara Carbon, Wichita, Kansas; siblings, Bernie Carbon (Annette), Warner Robins; Don Carbon (Shirley), Wichita, Kansas; Keith Carbon (Nicole), West Fort Ann, New York; grandchildren, Hailey, Kaden, and Talen; and numerous other family members and friends.
A Scripture Service will be held Sunday, September 30, beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Macon, Georgia. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
