Roger Paul Crozat, 63, entered into rest on Thursday, March 24, 2011.
Colonel Crozat was born on October 31, 1947, in New Orleans, and was of the Catholic Faith. He earned his Masters Degree, and with great pride and honor, served his country in the United States Air Force as a highly decorated Navigator and Maintenance Officer. He actively participated in Southeast Asia, Desert Storm, and Kosovo, before retiring as a Colonel. An avid golfer, he was a former member of The Landings Golf Club. His father, Lionel Crozat, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty years, Carolyn Donna McQuinn Crozat, Kathleen; sons, Matthew Crozat (Adrienne), Washington D.C., and Jeremy Crozat (Mariah), Sioux Falls, South Dakota; daughter, Carolyn Crozat, Council Bluffs, Iowa; six grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Crozat, Gretna, Louisiana, and Stephen Crozat, Clarksville, Tenseness; and mother, Shirley Robbins Crozat, Gretna, Louisiana.
Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Father Thomas J. Fey officiating. Interment will follow on Monday, March 28, 2011, at 12:30 p.m. in Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, Georgia, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the donor's favorite charity.
