Constance R. "Connie" Burkett

Constance R. "Connie" Burkett, 75, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 08, 2014.

Connie was born on July 8, 1938 in Hormtown, Pennsylvania to the late Ralph Melvin Smith and Eva Kay Smith. She was of the Lutheran faith. Connie was an excellent seamstress and crafter. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed traveling. Her parents and her brother, Delbert "Bud" Smith all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Edward Jay Burkett, Leesburg, Florida; children, Gerald Edward Burkett (Peggy), North Bend, Oregon; Sharon Aldine de Neuf (Joel), Garry Jay Burkett (Mona), all of Warner Robins, Georgia; Teresa Ann Welsh (William), Falls Creek, Pennsylvania; brother, Charles Smith (Ann); sister in law, Doris Smith, all of Hormtown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Vincent Burkett, Amieé de Neuf, Marianne McConnell, Matthew Welsh, Danielle Burkett, Ashlee Burkett, Brandi Watford; and eight great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Tri-County Church of God in Dubois, Pennsylvania. Interment will be private.
