Consuela Marie Kokenzie

Consuela Marie Kokenzie, 60, entered into rest on Sunday, October 13, 2024. 

Consuela was born on December 4, 1963, in Miami, Florida, and was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother whose spirit shone brightly in the lives of those around her. Family was at the heart of Consuela’s life; she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter and adventure. Her love extended to her loyal dog, Cooper, who brought her endless joy. A dedicated Miami Dolphins fan, she brought enthusiasm and joy to every game, cheering on her team with unwavering passion. In her free time, she delighted in tackling home projects, working outside, and cozying up with a good movie. 

Consuela was preceded in death by her father, Roberto del Monaco and husband, Henry F. Kokenzie, Jr. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Elizabeth Abarca (Rafael Abara, Jr.), Nicholas Kokenzie (Kayla Kokenzie), and Kristina Kokenzie (Michael Marrero); grandchildren, Giovanni Abarca, Isabella Abarca, Olivia Kokenzie, Jodan Kokenzie, Luca Kokenzie, Liam Kokenzie, and Adrian Henry Marrero; mother, Consuela del Monaco; siblings, Robert “Tito” del Monaco, Elizabeth Tucker, Ruben del Monaco, and Edward del Monaco. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Consuela will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
