Corrie Anne Benton, 72, passed away on September 26, 2007.

Mrs. Benton was born on May 17, 1935 in Fort Valley, Georgia. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and the XYZ Senior Adult Organization. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her husband, Billy E. Benton, Sr., parents, Rupert and Rubye Forehand, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Jeanie Petty (Jerry), Fairhope, Alabama; Joanie Camera (Greg), Jonesboro, Georgia; Billy E. Benton, Jr., Spring Hill, Tennessee; Julie Seals (Alan), Lexington, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Brown (Gary), Warner Robins; Margie Biglane (Raymond), Mississippi.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2007, at Second Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials may be given to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.
