Craig Allen Young

Craig Young, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

Craig was born on August 23, 1963, in Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1981. He had several different jobs before settling on a career as an over the road truck driver. He traveled all over the country with his best 4-legged friend “Chance”, who kept him company. When he was not on the road, he liked to stay busy so he would tinker in his mother’s shop, go fishing, or for a ride on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Christy Young father, Walter L Young (Elain); mother, Sandy Faye Mathis (John); daughters, Leah Smith, Alissa Young, Sydney Young, and Kayla Young; stepsons, Michael Caudle, and Blake Caudle; siblings, Terry L. Young, Donna Young Williams, Shane Bree Clements, and Casey Thompson Bare; and 6 beautiful grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be Monday, July 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A celebration of life will immediately follow, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Craig will be laid to rest privately.
