Crimes Rogers, 68, of Valdosta passed away Thursday morning, March 13, 2003 at the Veterans Hospital in Dublin, Georgia after a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 16 at 1P.M. at the Parkway Memorial Mausoleum. Visitation will be Saturday from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mr. Rogers was born in Nashville, Georgia and had lived in Valdosta for most of his life. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force. A Preventative Medical Specialist, he also served a tour of duty in Vietnam. After retiring, he moved to Valdosta and worked at Bemiss Grocery for several years. He was Baptist by faith. Mr. Rogers was well loved and will be missed by all.
Survivors include daughter, Colleen J. Rogers, Perry; five stepchildren, Linda C. Robinson, Perry; Chester Albert, Warner Robins; Michael E. Rogers, Kathleen; Bonna Pollard, Byron; and Cindy Lord, Jeffersonville; two stepsisters, Dorothy Morgan, Stockbridge, and Betty Jean Boatwright, Tampa, FL; stepbrother, Wilson Rogers, Eaton Park, FL; dear friend, Virginia Ward, Valdosta; ten grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
