Curtis Donald "Don" Dimsdale, Sr., 84, entered into rest on Sunday, September 21, 2014.
Don was born on June 10, 1930 in Ben Hill County, Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1948 graduate of Warner Robins High School and proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Don absolutely loved working and never stopped. Following his retirement from Civil Service, he became an entrepreneur, purchasing homes to rent out as well as homes to remodel and resell. When Don wasn't hard at work, he was on the lake fishing. He loved life, had a heart of gold, and was a friend to everyone he knew.
His loving wife, Marjorie Jean Dimsdale; and parents, Harvey and Euna Evans Dimsdale, preceded him in death.
Don's memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Michele Dimsdale Fenske (Chuck) of Cumming and Curt Dimsdale, Jr. (Rhonda) of Centerville; grandchildren, Reagan and Reese Dimsdale and Ben and Charlie Fenske; siblings, Mike Dimsdale and Valeria Allmon, both of Warner Robins; and several adoring nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
