Curtis Neil "Pete" Greer

Curtis Neil “Pete” Greer, born on January 10, 1938 in Winter Garden, FL to the late Wilbert and Effie Mae Greer, passed away at home on the morning of Monday, February 13, 2023. He was a 1956 graduate of Warner Robins High School and retired with 35 years of Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was not content to sit around in his retirement, so he took on a courier position at Cornerstone Medical. Pete also enjoyed serving as a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Billie Herndon Greer of Warner Robins; children, Jay Greer (Kathleen) of Haynesville and Kellie Carter (Jay) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jennifer Carter of Atlanta and Jared Carter of Warner Robins; and several adoring nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Arrowood officiating. Pete will be laid to rest in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
