Kathleen

Cynthia Dickman, a loving mother, kind-hearted, and a woman of strong faith, passed away on November 19, 2024.

Cynthia was born to the late Ronald and Evelyn Watson Cox on December 13, 1964, in Sacramento, California. She was raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, where she graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1983. An honor student, she was an active member of the marching band, where she played first chair trumpet, and participated in the math club.

Cynthia's musical talents and academic achievements earned her a scholarship to the University of Georgia, where she pursued a degree in music. She later continued her education at Beaufort Technical College, earning a degree in Industrial Electronics and an Electrical Engineering degree from Mercer University—Cynthia’s engineering career at ARINC and Robins Air Force Base, spanned 20 years.

Between high school and college, Cynthia had the opportunity to travel to Europe. She spent time performing with a traveling orchestra comprised of highly accomplished high school musicians, and expanding her love for music. In 1985, she married her husband in Beaufort, South Carolina, and initially worked in appliance repair before returning to Dublin, Georgia, in 1999. She eventually settled in Warner Robins in 2005, where she made her home. While in Beaufort, Cynthia was an active member of the Chamber Orchestra and continued to pursue her passion for music.

She also volunteered with pet rescues, bringing love and care to animals in need. Cynthia was deeply involved in her community and a devoted member of Harvest Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to the mountains and beach, and visiting Germany and Disney.

Known to stand firm in her beliefs, Cynthia's legacy of kindness and determination will continue to inspire all who knew her. Cynthia's kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched many lives, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 39 years, Ken Dickman of Kathleen; children, Renee Dickman of Warner Robins, and Michael Dickman of La Crescent, Minnesota; grandchildren, Isabelle and Lily Dickman; as well as many other extended beloved relatives and friends.
