Cynthia Margaret Jones, age 78, passed into the hands of her Lord on Christmas Day, 2022.
Cynthia was born in Chicago, IL on October 9, 1944, to the late George and Helen Booras Economou. She dedicated her life to being a full-time wife, mother and grandmother to her late husband, Albert, her children, Lisa and Eddie, and her grandchildren, Grace, Parker and Grant. They never went a day without knowing how much they were loved by her. Cynthia’s leisure time was spent creating art and volunteering at the Senior Activity Center and the Al-Sihah Shrine Temple. It was evident that she loved giving back to the community and spending time with her friends and family as much as possible!
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Novak and Rose Economou; and her brother-in-law, Edward Novak.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Lisa Jones and Eddie Jones (Kim); grandchildren, Grace Jones, Parker Jones and Grant Jones; siblings, John Economou (Mary Lynn), Diane Economou and Christine Economou; nieces and nephews, Alex, Nick and Claire Economou, Jennifer Chan and Christen Cooper; and grand-pups, Lucky and Skeeter.
