Dan R. Sutton

Daniel Richard Sutton, 53, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on, Saturday, February 5, 2011.

Danny was born on September 18, 1957, in Macon, Georgia. A faithful servant of the Lord, he was an active member of Second Baptist Church. Danny was the owner/operator of Mid-State Restoration for many years before returning to the family business of Sutton Christian Supply. Danny was passionate about serving his Lord and providing a loving Christian home for his family; a legacy his children are proud to carry on. A dedicated community servant, he was past President of the Warner Robins American Little League, past President of the Warner Robins High School Touchdown Club, and former Treasurer of the Demon Diamonds Baseball Boosters. He had an infectious smile, a loving heart and never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his faithful and loving wife, Catharine Graham Sutton, Bonaire; sons and their wives, Drew and Kelly Sutton, Loganville; Britt and Jessica Sutton, Warner Robins; parents, Daniel W. "Bill" Sutton and Fay Ott Sutton, Warner Robins; brother, Keith Sutton, Columbus; precious granddaughter, Tenley Kate Sutton, Warner Robins; very special nieces and nephews; and many other extended family and loving friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, February 9, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Winship Cancer Institute – Office of Gift Records, Emory University, 1762 Clifton Road NE, Ste. 1400, Atlanta, Georgia 30322.
