Dana Eugene Pacheco

Beloved son and cherished father, Dana Eugene Pacheco left this life for his heavenly home on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

Born in Dayton, Ohio on June 2, 1968, Dana was the son of Eugene Pacheco, Jr. and Louise Spidel Pacheco. Dana was outgoing and gregarious. He never met a stranger and seemed to know everyone. From early in his life, Dana was active in most sports. He was a member of the first soccer league in Houston County and maintained playing through junior high. He was on bowling teams starting in first grade at Sacred Heart Catholic School and continuing bowling into his teenage years. An avid tennis player, Dana entered local tournaments whenever he could. For several years in grade school, he played baseball through the Houston County Recreation Department. He was a great outfielder and enjoyed every aspect of the game.

Left to treasure his memory include his parents, Eugene and Louise Spidel Pacheco; his children, BethAnn Pacheco and Trae Smith; sister, Lisa Tonn (Tom); nephew, Ben Tonn (Casey); niece, Linda Marie Tonn (M K Corley); aunt and uncle, Susan and Tom Allen; cousins, Michael Allen (Velma) and their children, Michael and Averie; Joseph Allen (Calli) and their children, Max and Noel; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. His services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Dana will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
