Dana was born October 22, 1966, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She spent her school-aged years in Eutaw, Al. and graduated from University of Montevallo in 1989 with a Bachelors degree. In the summer of 1989, she moved to Warner Robins and began a long career in Social Work, embarking on a journey of compassion and service culminating with her employment at Robins AFB. Her grace and selflessness illuminated every room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her.Dana’s home was not just a place; it was a sanctuary of comfort and generosity that was felt by anyone who entered. Her dedication to helping others before herself was apparent even into the last few sweet days of her life; her spirit of compassion and kindness will continue to inspire us all. Dana’s loving spirit will be deeply missed by those she held most dear.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Robert “Skip” Rozelle of Bonaire; children, Thomas Drake Rozelle (Haley) of Warner Robins, and Robert Seth Rozelle of Bonaire; parents, Thomas and Judy Lake and sister, Deborah Lake Bradley (Jimmy) of Mobile, Alabama, along with many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, April 26, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bonaire Baptist Church. A funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bonaire Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Dana Rozelle to Enhabit Hospice at 3920 Arkwright Road, Macon, GA 31210.
