Daniel Edgar Miles

Warner Robins -- Daniel E. Miles passed away on Friday, March 28, at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 31 at First Baptist Church of Kathleen with interment following in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Sunday evening at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Kathleen Building Fund or to the Alzheimers Association, Central GA Chapter, 277 M.L.K. Jr. Blvd., Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201.

A resident of Warner Robins for more than 50 years, Mr. Miles was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Kathleen, a former member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church and he was an ordained Deacon. He was a 32nd degree Mason, as well. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie B. Miles; father, William D. Miles; and sisters, Betty Barfield and Mary ''Tiny'' Jordan.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Miles; daughters, Jackie M. Welch and Kay Regina James; son, William ''Buddy'' Miles, all of Warner Robins; son, Joseph Edgar Miles, Macon; son, Daniel Phillip Miles, Warner Robins; sister, Jewel Jones, Ellaville; grandchildren, Danny Glasgow, Dannie Morris, Billy Miles, Kristen N. Miles, Hannah James, Joshua James; and three great grandchildren.
