Daniel Melvin Miller, age 60, passed away in Macon on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Born in Washington, DC, on June 27, 1961, Daniel was the son of the late Daniel W. Miller and Thelma Crump Miller. Soon after high school, Daniel joined the United States Army where he served in Desert Storm and Kosovo. After his Army career, Daniel worked in logistics as a manager at Home Depot where he was employed until he retired.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Lynn Maze.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Leslie Cope (Daniel) of Saint Joseph, MO, Daniel Miller (Julia) of San Antonio, TX, Kristen Miller of LaGrange, GA, and Randy Miller of Tulsa, OK, brother, Leslie M. Miller; nine beloved grandchildren, one step grandchild, and two stepdaughters, Brittany Owen (Aaron) and Danielle Ryan.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest with his wife, Kathy Maze, at Arlington National Cemetery. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
