Daniel C. Redding, 57, entered into rest on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
Daniel was born on November 26, 1956, in Oak Park, Illinois. After retiring from the United States Air Force, Daniel worked with special needs adults for eighteen years. He managed Happy Hour and worked specifically with on-base recycling efforts. Daniel enjoyed croquet and golf. Papa Dan loved spending time with his grandchildren. His parents, Herbert Joseph and Mary Jane Redding, and brother, Marty Redding, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty years, Linda Jenifer Redding; children, Gary Robert Barnes (Leda), Warner Robins; Joanne Louise Silvester (David Stokes), Perry; grandchildren, Ashlyn Barnes, Murilo Barnes, Courtney Silvester and Sophie Silvester; brothers, Herbert Redding, Bob Redding and John Redding and best friends James and Debbie Harkins and Mr. Ed.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
