David Alan Lamer, 43, passed away in his home on Saturday, December 3, 2005. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 11 a. m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with military honors. Following the service, the family will receive friends at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 1544, Warner Robins, GA 31099-1544). <br><br>David was born on August 16, 1962 in Bloomington, Illinois. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he went on to become a lead electrician with Atlantic Southeast Airlines. David was an avid Harley-Davidson rider and built Hot Rods in his free time. <br><br>Survivors include his wife, Kim Lamer, Byron; his son, Adam Stoner, Byron; his daughter, Andrea Morris (Donnie), Sumter, South Carolina; his mother, Betty Lamer, San Antonio, Texas; his Father and Step-Mother, Tony and Margaret Lamer, Sumter, South Carolina; his granddaughter, Grace Ann Morris, Sumter, South Carolina; his siblings, Mary Bonney (Woody), Wedgefield, South Carolina, Doug Lamer (Donna), Sumter, South Carolina, Edie Gross (Dale), San Antonio, Texas, and Judy Brabham (Woody), Easley, South Carolina; three nephews; and four nieces. <br>
