Byron resident David Allen Pace, Sr. passed away at his home on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the age of 65.
A native of Michigan City, Indiana, David spent many years in the United States Army and Marine Corps before buying his own rig and setting his sights on the road. David loved being a truck driver and spending his time driving the highways of this country. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a great cook. His love for the outdoors took him on many motorcycle outings and camping trips.
In addition to his parents, James D. and Betty R. Pace, David was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Lee Pace.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 40 years, Helen Florig Pace; children, David Pace, Jr. and Alexandria Pace; and brothers, Dennis Pace and Donald Pace.
