David “Bear” Patterson left this world for the next on January 31, 2021. He was 72 years old.
Bear spent four years in the U.S. Air Force. While in the military, he served a tour in Vietnam. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association. Bear was a fan of racing as well as football. Above all, he loved his family.
Bear was the son of the late Jennette Patterson and Jack Patterson. He was also widower of Frances Patterson, who passed away in 2006.
Bear is survived by his children, Maggie Patterson, Nicholas Patterson (Kelly) and Katie Hanson (Johnathon), all of Warner Robins; granddaughter, Kinsley Patterson; brothers, Dennis Patterson (Melanie) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Steve Patterson (Lyde) of Olean, New York; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harmon Ferguson (Vicky); sisters-in-law, Lula Henley and Drew Kinsey; and brother-in-law, Paul Ferguson.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 and 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Entombment will take place afterward at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
